Our senior guests are closely monitored to be sure they are happy and comfortable and not disturbed by the more active guests. They enjoy short walks in the yard and can lovingly be carried outside for a little fresh air.
Reservations are required as we are only able to accommodate a limited number of guests. All of our guests must be current on their immunizations and we strongly recommend working with your veterinarian for flea/tick protection and deworming.
Happy Hounds Lodge is open seven days a week. We provide safe, kennel-free personalized overnight boarding. We also offer pick-up and delivery services.

The Lodge
Happy Hounds is a unique family owned and operated dog care establishment serving Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland. Located on 17 gorgeous rolling acres in rural Round Hill, Virginia, guests share our farmhouse and become our family members during their stay.
All of our guests sleep inside our home because we are a fun, warm, and loving kennel-free "home away from home" for your dog. The goal of Happy Hounds Lodge is to keep your dog happy and safe. We maintain 24 hour professional care and careful supervision for every guest.
At the Lodge, younger and more active dogs, love to spend lots of time running freely in our large secure areas with our enthusiastic pack. They also love to chase the ever-elusive squirrels, splash in the doggy pools and dig or roll in the sand pile.
